New Years Resolution: Post More

So I've decided I really want to post more. Considering I haven't posted anything for a year or so? But SO much is happened in that year, so I'll try my best to eventually inform you.

So lets start out with the "Something old.", in the "Something old, something new.", saying. This past year I attended BreyerFest, and NAN 2012. It was a wonderful experience, and I miss every second of it. I go usually every other year with my mom, and It's a great for it to be just us. Quality mother-daughter time is great for everyone, I think:) But this year, I got to go with and meet many new people. My good friend Gianna made the trip down during BreyerFest, it was great to see my long distance friend for the 4th time. And 5th soon! I also got to meet Natalie and Kelsey, my Internet buddies from YouTube. It was even a better experience because of this!

Although me and Gianna didn't spend to much time at actual BreyerFest, we still had a great time. I arrived on Monday, and Showed Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday at NAN, but that's a whole different story, we'll get to that later! So on Friday I also participated in the Open Show, (which I didn't that bad at. But not good enough for a Glossy :( So that racked up four total days of showing, plus going with Gianna to the Youth show. I really enjoyed all the showing, but I was so tired. Some may say, showed-out. So we both didn't really have a grand experience on Sunday, when everything was getting picked up. But we made up for that by making like 3 or 4 trips to the Clarion (Holiday Inn)!

My Loot:

Llanura; sculpted by Jenn Irwin (Scott)

I also got one Special Run, TunBridge Wells, which I think we have also seen tons of times! I got my Kipling with Kesley and Natalie. That was my money well spent. And Kipling has gone on (as expected) to be a great shower. And I'm a proud new owner of an amazingly painted Llanura:

The similarities of the blanket, is astounding. Both Natalie and Cindi said she's wonderful in person, I can't wait to see her! Cindi did an amazing job on her, Eeek!! To bad I won't be able to see her in person until April! I'm having her proxied through Natalie, and the last show she and some others will be taken to is in April. But hopefully she'll be arriving with some ribbons? Only time will tell! As you can see, if you really want to compare the original and recreation of the horse above through Llanura, Cindi made slight changes here and there, I and I LOVE that! I love when artists can see what would look the best and really pour 110% into trying to get it as close to perfect as they can, which I am pretty sure all artists aim for, so that was irrelevant. Silly Madie.

I'll be sure to try and keep you guys updated, and I'll be trying to post at least every few days!
